Itinerary

Day 1Cusco –Lares - Cuncani

Pick up from your hotel at 5:30 and then we will drive through the sacred valley for approximately 3 hours (40 miles north of Cusco) to reach the town of Lares (3200 m.a.s.l / 10498 feet) where our horsemen will be waiting for us with great kindness and we will prepare our equipment before starting our walk with a moderate pace and the ascent will be gradual until the lunch point that will take 2 hours (3 km / 1,864 miles).
After lunch we will continue along the mountain path to the Cuncani camp that will take us 3 hours (6km / 3,728 miles) where our horsemen will have the camping tents ready and then one of our horsemens will provide us a container with warm water for cleaning. Staff and later our waiter will offer us hot drinks in our personal tents such as coffee, chocolate, coca infusions and different types of tea and cookies and popcorn and then we will meet in the dining tent to enjoy dinner and then we will retire to our tents personal for the night

Day 2Cuncani - Pacchayoc

The second day your waiter will wake you up at 5:00 am (you do not need to turn on your alarm) with a cup of coca infusion or coffee later you will enjoy a good breakfast and then we will prepare our equipment to start the walk to the Highest point of the hike called siqllacasa (4820 m.a.s.l / 15813 feet) that will take us approximately 5 hours from our camp. In this part of the trek you will appreciate endless snow-capped mountains, crystalline lagoons, herds of alpacas, llamas and when we reach the highest point we will take a well-deserved rest and contemplate the mountain ranges and we will have an impressive view of the sacred valley while savoring a delicious infusion of Coca and your guide will perform a small ceremony at the Apus (sacred mountains) if you wish, you can be part of this small ceremony.
Later we will continue the descent for 2 hours and later we will enjoy an Andean lunch prepared by our cook with their respective hot drinks.
After lunch the guide will provide you a rest for around 30 minutes and then continue with the descent through a forest of native trees of the area (polylepis) for 2 hours and we will arrive at our camp called Pacchayoc at approximately 4 pm.
All the camping equipment will be ready, with warm water for our cleaning and the waiter will again provide us with hot drinks with cookies and popcorn and then we will have dinner and from there we will retire to our personal tents

Day 3Pacchayoc - Pumahunaca – Ollantaytambo – Hot waters

After breakfast, the last part of the walk begins, it will be a descent for 4 hours to Pumahunaca, a town located in the sacred valley, we will pass through peasant farms where they grow potatoes, quinoa and some vegetables where people still use ancestral instruments of the Inca era and we will also pass by streams. And when we arrive at the town of Pumahuanca we will have lunch in a house of a villager in the area and later we will say goodbye to our horsemens and cook and then we will take our private transportation to the Ollantaytambo station from there we will continue by train to the town of Aguas Calientes by approximately 1:45 minutes. In hot waters we will take you to your hotel where you will rest for the night.

Day 4Machupichu – Cusco

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will board a local bus for 30 minutes in the direction of Machu Picchu where you will enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of this magical place. After enjoying the tour, we will take the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes and we will board the train to Ollantaytambo and then we will take a private bus to your hotel in Cusco, arrival time approximately 6pm
